Figures are reported annually to WFDSA by its member DSAs, each of which surveys the direct selling companies operating in its market.

The annual Global Direct Selling Statistics Report is the reference publication; portal figures match the most recent edition.
Company submissions
Company Visibility profiles are supplied and approved by the member companies themselves.
Methodology
Retail sales
Estimated retail sales, excluding VAT/sales tax, converted to US dollars at the average exchange rate of each year.
Year over year change
Calculated from retail sales in US dollars; changes in constant currency can differ where exchange rates moved.
Independent representatives
Independent salespeople active in the reporting year. Female/male shares are of respondents who reported gender.
